The staff had exceeded our expectations!! If we had any questions/concerns, staffing had taken care of the issues in a quick timely manner. The room was very clean,comfortable and lots of space. We liked the availability of tea,coffee and fruit water.

Bangor was interesting and had some nice historic places.
Bangor was interesting and had some nice historic places. Shopping and coffee in the old section was nice. The traffic was slow and a bit tedious in the morning. We drove through on our way out of town and didn't have time for shopping and getting more familiar with Bangor.

-I spent a lot of my childhood in Brewer, so I feel I can't be objective.
-I was surprised to see so many Mexican restaurants. But not surprised to learn they used all white people recipes. (not authentic)
-Brewer is a great place to start a hiking trip. Plenty of trails and parks and mountains. - Wear bug spray -
-Not too far from the shore, unless that is your main reason for being in Maine. Wonderful place for a photo safari any time of year. Close to Forth Knox - a family-rated must-see. Way Cool!!

This property is pure perfection.
This property is pure perfection. It exceeded all of our expectations in ways we couldn't even imagine. The home blew us away. It's like they thought of anything and everything we could possibly want or need (from an amazing view off the back porch to a fully functional kitchen, including any kind of equipment you could possibly need for cooking, or eating, to a laundry room with detergent and drier sheets and a first aid kit that an urgent care center would be jealous off) and made sure we had it available. Every room, including the master bedroom walk in closet, was gorgeous, functional and comfortable. I've just never seen so much care devoted to the comfort of guests. This home deserves it's own category of ratings, a 10 is just not enough.

Quiet college town.
Quiet college town. Great breakfast places but ow on restaurants. Lots of breweries if that your mojo. Most of the breweries served food as well. Bangor however is close by and is flush with choices of places to eat.

This hotel was such a nice change from the regular chain hotels. It is located in a busy area but when you pull up you see the care they take with the outside and the sign lit up and when you walk through the doors, you are welcomed by Morgan at the front desk with the beautiful sweeping staircases on either side. It is an older hotel but the rooms are very clean and well maintained along with the property. It was nice to see owners walking their doges in the morning and just feeling comfortable in the entire place. I am not sure why we did not stay here sooner. We focused on the chain hotels for 4 years while visiting my niece in college and now we can't wait to return and stay at this hotel again. The feel is the most important and we felt at home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a nice, clean place with a nice size pool and good size hotel rooms. The staff being friendliy is a bonus.

Stayed for 2 nights to attend wedding in Bangor. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room had decent bed with 6 pillows! pretty comfortable, 2 sitting chairs. Microwave, Fridge, Cable TV. Good Continental Breakfast included. The rooms are a bit dated and the furniture shows it, as well as that masked smoke aroma., but for a quick stay at reasonable rates, it fit the bill. Good location. Walking distance from family restaurants, pharmacy and grocery.

I only stayed one night, would have loved to stay longer and explore the intown area. I’ll be back!! Was in the area for a concert at the Cross Insurance Arena, stayed at the Hollywood Casino Hotel directly across the street. Entire experience was very uplifting!
