Some of the staff were incredibly understanding and very kind. Some not so much. I unfortunately had my laundry (which were my work clothes for night, bathing suit, vs pink outerwear workout clothes and underwear and bras) not cheap either, stolen from the public laundry. I was heartbroken. This hotel is 2 hours from job but the price was decent for a 7 night stay. Now I'm paying full price just until they resolve the issue. But they let me keep my room until than so I don't have to move all my things and that's much appreciated.
Used hotel so we would be close to airport in case of bad weather. Was clean - nothing fancy but perfect for our needs . Shuttle got us there very quickly in the morning. Personnel was friendly and helpful. Just an overnight stay.
It was a good value hotel and not a bad drive from Chicago, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot tub wad not working and was a big disappointment to us all after being on our feet all day. The pool was nice and big though, vey nice setting indoors!
I paid almost $80 for a cheap, out of date hotel room that wasn't pleasurable. They placed me in a dirty room & my key wouldn't work when I got to my room. My new room also seemed like they just cleaned enough to make it seem clean & my key would not work yet again. The people working acted like I was bothering them so it made me feel very unwanted when I needed something. The shuttle drivers were absolutely insane drivers & the coffee in the morning was luke warm & not very tasteful at all.
I stayed here for a long layover in Chicago. It was clean enough to sleep in for me, and I;m a housekeeper by day. They didn't offer breakfast, but there was a Subway and Dunkin' Donuts within walking distance. Close to Allstate Arena. The sheets and bedding could be upgraded, they were scratchy. Although, I only stayed 1 night. They offer a free airport shuttle, and that worked great. Just remember to schedule one in the morning. I would stay here for a short trip only. Overall would stay again if I have a layover in CHI again.
Chicago O’Hare International Airport is located 19 miles (30 kilometres) from Chicago’s central Loop district. The 24-hour Blue Line train links the city centre to Terminal 2 (O’Hare Station) in 45 minutes and leaves every 7–10 minutes (Night Owl Services depart every 30 minutes). A taxi will cost USD 30–40, reaching Downtown in 30–45 minutes.
There are hotel options surrounding the terminals with most offering shuttle services. Got some time to spare before a flight? Retreat to the Terminal 3 yoga room, which has screens showing yoga exercises – and flight updates. The indoor Urban Garden is filled with herbs and vegetables that are dished up in the neighbouring restaurant. There’s a range of shops, and eateries serving up local treats like Garrett’s cheese-flavoured popcorn and deep-dish pizza.
The domestic terminals (1, 2 and 3) are connected to the international terminal 5 by the free-to-use, 24-hour ATS train. Trains run every few minutes, apart from between 00:00 and 04:30 when they depart around every 20 minutes. Catching a connecting flight at Chicago O’Hare will require travellers to pass through immigration - a passport, visa or ESTA may be necessary.
