The room was exactly like the images on Booking.com. No misleading, Photoshopped images.
We forgot an electric shaver charger base at the Inn. We were so impressed how they contacted us and shipped the item back to us. Thanks for your help Stephanie!
We were impressed that they contacted us prior to our checking in to confirm the credit that I used. (Reservation was in my name, but I used a credit in my husband's name).
The Inn was so quiet. I usually don't sleep well in hotels/motels because of noise.
The room was a comfortable temperature all night long.
We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be staying at the Marina Inn again and again.

We asked the staff for cutlery since we were planning to go buy some at the store, and they kindly provided disposable ones for free. There was plenty of hot water. We made tea using the coffee machine. The staff were excellent in communication.

We had never been to the Pacific Northwest so we didn't know...
We had never been to the Pacific Northwest so we didn't know exactly what to expect. Anacortes is easy to get to without taking the ferry. There is so much to do within easy distance. Washington Park in Anacortes is a beautiful park that you can drive slowly thru, approx a 2 mile loop or you can walk the loop. We took the ferry to San Juan Island and that was great. Deception pass is about 20 min drive and definitely worth going to. We drove down from Seattle airport and stopped in Edmonds, Mukilteo, and LaConner on our drive to Anacortes. Highly recommed

Likes: Beautiful and quiet location.
Likes: Beautiful and quiet location. Good value for the money. The Blue Heron Restaurant was outstanding! There are several fun shops to peruse, including some showing some local artists. It's a small island, so getting around is easy. Be sure to wave at oncoming motorists, it's a Lopez Island thing!
Dislikes: Entry was not as described in the booking. The shower does not flow well.

The cleanliness of the home was disgusting. Has not been cleaned for a long time.... including the bathroom. The toliet in the master bedroom needs a new internal mechanism as it would not shut off. There was outdoor furniture but it was so disgusting and dirty it was not usable. The furniture inside was old, very worn and dirty. God, I prayed out sheets were clean!
But....the location of the house was perfect! Close to the ocean and very quiet. The size of the home was perfect. Would have been a perfect place but was so incredibly dirty!

We love visiting LaConner and try to make it an annual visit. Located in lush Skagit County andvsurtounded by many family farms. Home of the Skagit Valley Tulip festival. So many fine restaurants and quaint shops. A perfect getaway for the whole family.

Lopez is incredible and we do the Tour de Lopez every year.
Lopez is incredible and we do the Tour de Lopez every year. If you have not been to Lopez, it is a must with an adorable downtown area with cute shops, coffee, and a brewery. The views are incredible and locals are extremely kind. Make sure to treat yourself to dinner at Ursa Minor - you will not regret it!

We like to visit Anacortes on our way to the San Juan...
We like to visit Anacortes on our way to the San Juan Islands via our boat. Lots of restaurant choices and very walkable. For those with cars, there are lots of points of interest to visit and the downtown area is very shoppable. Two great bookstores!

La Conner is a super quaint town. The food was amazing! There are cute shops to check out and a picturesque waterfront. I would highly recommend stopping in La Conner. It was a great place to stay while we were exploring the tulip fields near by.

Lopez is amazing, quiet, and if you can, stay here and bike...
Lopez is amazing, quiet, and if you can, stay here and bike on the ferries to island hop but always return to Lopez. The other towns (Friday Harbor especially) feel like Coney Island compared to Lopez.
Even during the summer, a lot of places are closed Mon-Weds and if you're dining here, make reservations in advance - especially at Setsuna.

Mt Erie is close by, worth the short drive to the crest.
Mt Erie is close by, worth the short drive to the crest. Spectacular views of Anacortes, the marina and the San Juan Islands. Also many restaurant choices in town, from Italian Pizza to five star dining. So much activity from whale watching boats to local coastal hikes. An experience of a lifetime.

We always stay at the Wild Iris when visiting.
We always stay at the Wild Iris when visiting. We are from out of state so we look forward to the location and beauty of the area and the
B & B is most welcoming. We feel comfortable and safe, plenty of parking and their breakfast is amazing. Definitely will look forward to next trip and stay at the Wild Iris. We had the best fish and chips at La Conner Pub and Eatery with a waterfront view. We loved shopping and going to the Museum of Northwest Art. We also had a fun night at O'Donnell's Irish Pub! All were very close to the Wild Iris.
