The breakfast buffet included hot and cold food, and coin-operated washing machines and dryers were available. Pizza, Mexican and McDonalds takeaway food was available over the road. There was plenty of parking. I didn't use the indoor pool. Recommended!

Omg! What DIDN’T I like?? This place was epic! The gym was well equipped, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, the shower hot and the indoor waterpark was AMAZING!!!! Our 9 year old spent 5 hours going up and down the slides! The breakfast was delicious and Jane and Kevin that ran the breakfast were absolutely LOVELY! What a wonderful asset to the business they are!

When I checked in it all went well till I got to the room they assigned me. When I got my room it had been used for something. it was messed up and had used by someone and left in a mess.
I went back to the check in desk and reported it. They were very sorry and upgraded me for the issue. the staff was great and addressed it fast and professionally.
this hotel is large and you need a good pair of walking shoes on check in as your room will be across the site :)
Check in was easy, no breakfast options which is unusual for the US.

So much to do, we took an all-day tour, "Bus Tour of Mount Rushmore and the Black Hills." Then revisited some sites for more time. My wife, a "Black Hills Gold" fan, had many stores carrying their products. Plenty of eateries, local and chains.

There is so much to see while in Rapid City....the downtown...
There is so much to see while in Rapid City....the downtown area with the bronze Presidents, the great food and wonderful people who are so friendly and accommodating. Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Hill City and Keystone were such delights to see. We also enjoyed the Chuckwagon dinner/show as well as the Black Hills Theatre. We could have stayed 3 more days easily.

We just stopped in on our way to Mt. Rushmore area. This is a great jumping off spot and could serve as a base for Black Hills adventure if you don't mind a little drive back home every night. The location is excellent for Black Hills access as well as Rapid City activities, with Walmart just a little bit down the road for shopping and several restaurants within minutes. As a newer property, it stands out in an area with a lot of "tired" and overpriced tourist hotels.
