Surrounded by vineyards in the Chianti hills, La Compagnia del Chianti is just otuside the medieval village of San Donato in Poggio. La Compagnia del Chianti is the perfect place to stay if you want to visit the Tuscany region. Very close to the highway between Florence and Siena, it allows you to get to any town or touristic destination really easily. Giada is a great host! She gave us tips to make the most of our stay and she was available for any issue that we might have. The room is perfect! Equipped with a kitchen and all things needed to cook. Also a beautiful terrace to enjoy the views of the Chianti area. There is a parking space right at the entrance outside and a great pool to use if the weather allows you (unfortunately we didn't have good weather for that). The village of San Donato is within a walking distance to go for a nice dinner. Also a small supermarket is within a walking distance if you need to do shopping.

Offering spectacular views across the Chianti vineyards and hills, Le Rocche Di Valiano is just 8 km outside Siena. Fantastic place with fantastic owners.

They serve a classical Italian breakfast with a good coffee and a very good fresh juice. (Be careful this juice is highly probiotic :D)

Located in the village of Greve in Chianti, Antico Pastificio is just behind the main square with its restaurants and shops. It offers rooms and apartments and a large garden with swimming pool. We liked the building itself, the 5 meter high roofs, The finishing of the bathroom tiles, the big windows. It was a very different type of lodging, and we enjoyed it very much. Our daughter did the trekking path they recommend in their notes and instructions, and she found it absolutely delightful, to the point she did it twice, in two days.

Residence Poggio Golf Chianti Firenze offers an outdoor swimming pool with a sun terrace and safety fence. It is located on a hillside just a few steps from the prestigious Ugolino Golf Course. Not too far from Florence but in a beautiful small town! Clean room, nice patio.
