We absolutely loved it ! If you're staying at La Muñequita Lodge, you are not just booking a random place to sleep : you are experiencing probably the most authentic and amazing experience in Costa Rica ! You'll be sleeping in a wooden caban, handmade, opened so you'll be litteraly sleeping amoung the flowers, the trees, the birds (red macaws, toucan...) ! Dont worry tho, there's light, fresh water, toilets, a great shower and everything you need ! It's an enchanted garden where you have all the privaty and the calm you'll need ! The hosts are the nicest : they'll be giving you a tour of the farm, you'll be casually learning about local trees, fruits, eating fresh tropical fruits directly from the trees, you'll meet the cows, goats and their babies : if you're lucky enough as we were, you'll be milking the goats, feeding the babies ! Such a precious, magical and unforgettable moment for us... For the dinner, if you want it, they'll cook for you a delicious, consistent local meal, wich you'll be eating at their table, meeting the others tourists : such a precious moment too ! For the breakfast : traditional coffee, pancakes with syrup or if you are not tired of it : pinto gallo :) The pancakes were just delicious !
