Newly renovated apartment, very clean and spacious. Supermarkets around the corner. Very close to the ocean coast. There is a sandy beach behind the port. Contactless check in and check out. Very quiet, small fishermen village. Terrace on the roof of the house.

Everything was perfect. We are very pleased. The flat was fully equipped. There was plenty of storage space, and the supermarket was 3-4 minutes away. Had everything you need nice sea view, and walking distance to go. There are several restaurants nearby. Alt var perfekt. Vi er veldig fornøyd. Leligheten hadde fult utstyr. Det var mye lagringsplass, og supermarked var 3-4 munuter å gå til. Hadde alt du trenger fin sjøutsikt, og gangavstand å gå. Det finnes flere restauranter nærheten.

The host can speak good English and picked me up by car at the airport. He drove me to the bus stop when I need it. His wife Olga is also very nice, they would like to help med with anything if I asked. The room is very clean, and it takes about 5 min to walk to the beach, and can swim in the large natural swimming pool with seawater. The restaurant Mama Gata nearly is good.

Eli and her family went over and above with their hospitality. The modern appartement is clean, fresh, inviting and homely and it was a home away from home. You’ll have all necessary utensils for cooking, 4 burner electric hobs (no oven or microwave) there is a washing machine and a larger then required fridge- freezer, iron and ironing board. The bathroom is compact but comfortable and modern. To reach the loft style bedroom you climb the cast iron spiral staircase which is easy and safe to navigate. The bed was firm and the bedside tables have lights to help navigate the stairs in the middle of the night. Eli is very knowledgeable and passionate about her home island and gave suggestions on a number of places to visit; hikes and tours to go on as well as the best pizza places. Buses to Las Palmas and other connections are available a short walk from the apartment and there is a number of parking places near the apartment if coming by car. The town itself is very quaint and charming, I met mostly locals while I visited and it is perfect if you’re looking for a property away from the busy tourist areas. The beach is situated one street away from the property and there are a number of restaurants and a couple of supermarkets to buy groceries. There were some items I couldn’t find at the local supermarket, but if you require a larger selection I recommend going to a larger supermarket outside Castillo del Romeral. I had a lovely relaxing stay, I would recommend and visit again.

Wonderful apartment. Very nice, comfortable, cozy and clean. Everything looks new and is well prepared for the guests and in the way that makes you immediately feel like home. Kitchen with everything you might need, washer dryer in the bathroom, TV and a small desk with an office chair in the living room. Very fast wi-fi. In the main bedroom a comfortable bed and a lot of room in the closet for your stuff. A big plus was a storage for our two bikes. The owner was very nice and helpful. 3 minute walk to the ocean. Pozo Izquierdo is not overcrowded with tourists, which was a plus for us. There are two small grocery stores and a few bars/restaurants. Easy free parking just next to the building. Overall a perfect place for a long as well as for a short stay. We spent there 8 weeks working remotely. We spent some time in a few different apartments on the island, and this one was by far the best.
