The watertoren was fun, cosy, and very unique. It is beautifully finished w/clever use if space and we loved the thoughtful snacks & warm robes. We loved it!

Arriving after a 40 hour flight we were made to feel very welcome and so appreciated the comfort and warmth of the welcome and the apartment. Joop is an excellent host and ensured we had everything we needed. We appreciated the comfort and facilities even more when we became ill in the subsequent days and had to regain our strength and recover in the apartment for a number of days. We were in the ground floor corner apartment and even though we were not feeling great the fact we were could see passers-by and the street activities helped greatly in getting us back on our feet. We could venture out easily for short walks and found shops within a few minutes walk and especially appreciated the excellent Bio-winkel (shop) around the corner where we could buy quality organic supplies. Once we felt strong again we very much enjoyed walking around the lovely streets of Gouda and even the cold weather did not diminish our enjoyment. So many Cafe's and restaurants to choose from and on New Years eve we could watch the wonderful fireworks from the apartment in comfort. The apartment is very comfortable and situated in a beautifully restored parish house. It has all the comforts of home especially the well equiped kitchen and the huge king size wonderful bed. Truly there is no better place to stay in Gouda. You will not be disappointed, do yourself a favour!

The location was fabulous! We were right in the middle of the old town, right next to the town square. The Saturday market and restaurants were a stone's throw away. The apartment looks newly renovated and was clean and neat. The tiny staircase leading to the 2 bedrooms and bathroom on the upper level was an interesting feature. The beds and pillow were nice and comfy.

we enjoyed our stay very much, the house was clean and comfy, had everything we needed. If we needed extra we asked joe & Mona and received immediately. Beautiful place in the country, rural and in the middle between anywhere u want to go in Holland. Mona & Joe are helpful, generous & willing to help with anything Thank you!!!
