The couple who welcome us were lovely, always available, and happy to help in any way. The place was spacious and clean with a swimming pool, a kitchen fully equipped (just no oven), a terrace, bathroom, and little living area inside the room. Highly recommend and would come back any time

It was quiet and peaceful. Central to Sintra and to the beach for a small Uber fee. Nice grocery store down the road with friendly staff. Loved the garden in the back.

Ricardo! and everything about the apartment .. it is clean, spacious, has everything required for preparing meals, is close to the bus stop, a small supermarket and cafés/restaurants …the permaculture garden out the back is a lovely bonus to sit in and enjoy a meal or drink … Ricardo was the most helpful Host …. If the apartment was on Airbnb he’d be called a Super Super Host 😀. He has a lot of local knowledge that is so helpful and after 2 weeks of trying to resolve an issue with CTT re posting parcels outside Europe, with Ricardo’s assistance it was resolved with the local CTT very quickly … Thank you Ricardo! 🙏

Great location, old but greatly renovated house with modern kitchen and bathroom on a centuries-old floor, in a even older village with narrow streets. 15 minutes from Cabo de Roca and Sintra palaces. Good secure parking Nice patio, we had dinner there both nights

Check in staff was awesome and helpful. Kitchen had some bread, tea etc. On-site laundry was nice. Parking on site.

We chose an apt NOT in Sintra (since parking within the city can be terrible). It is a nice village (still with many cars..), we had parking at the street, used the Supermarket in Colares. Very convenient apt for 2 people. (not sure how much for more, the 'leaving room' area is very small) Some shops and food-places are very near. We drove to Sintra (~10-15 min) and used a public parking lot. we used the washing machine, stove-top, kettle. Host was very helpful and responsive (we had issue with hot-water, which was fixed after a short time). We drove to 'Azenhas do Mar' (recommendation of Rita), but it was too cloudy to see the sun-set..

i was lucky to get a mid summer booking and had a wonderful three days. Eugaria is a particularly magical corner of Sintra parish, away from the tourist crowds visiting the palaces and closer to the beaches and forest trails (4.5km via Gigaros to Capuchos). The house and garden is truly charming. I spent one afternoon sitting under the trees with a visiting friend enjoying the view across Colares and the coast. The hosts are friendly and thoughtful. There was seasonal fruit, wine and breakfast items in the room upon arrival. I was able to get around using Bolt / Uber (easy in this area in the summer, longer waits in winter). I look forward to visiting again. Highly recommended. Obrigada Ana e Luis!

This stay was the best I had during my time in Portugal. Nice, self-contained unit with 2 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, dining and bathroom. Has pellet-burning heater to warm the unit. and a patio outside with chairs and table. Host Gabriela was very hospitable and made excellent recommendations of what to see in the area (sunset at Praia da Adraga was amazing!). Upon arrival she had provided bread, ham, cheese, honey and cookies which were all delicious and much appreciated! Was also nice to meet the dogs.
