We had a fantastic time in Obidos with two families. The cottage was great. We rented the downstairs and upstairs apartment. Each family had its place and together we had a terrace. The house is located in an incredibly quiet street on the edge of the village and between fields. You can do everything on foot, but the area around Obidos is mountainous, nothing is flat.

Location was so cool! Right within the walls of the castle. Entrance was on a quiet street while a window overlooked the busy vendor street. Place was comfortable and clean. Communication was easy, checkin was simple and smooth. Incredible hospitality, the host left treats for us that were incredibly sweet and thoughtful. All the kitchen supplies you could need and in good condition.

Amazing hosts Elizabeth and husband. Beautifully decorated accommodation. Roof top deck with a panoramic view of the lagoon and ocean. Stunning gardens. We would love to return.

Great host, showed all the ins and outs of Obidos, what to visit, where to eat, where to go! Tiago also offered some local products which was a great experience! the whole experience made our visit to Obidos that much more enjoyable! Great location with parking as well!

We loved the location. It overlooked a valley with a beautiful church highlighted, especially at night. Outside the wall, we were close enough to wander inside in a few minutes & there were a multitude of cafes & restaurants to choose from. Once they got us a working dehumidifier (it was winter & quite damp everywhere when we arrived) the property was very comfortable. The stovetop, microwave, & all the accessories were well supplied.

Marcelo was an excellent, reliable, communicative, and very helpful host! We mistakenly left our passports behind in the room and Marcelo was so accommodating and flexible in meeting us to get them back. The room was exactly as described and was the perfect size for two people. It was comfortable, clean, safe, very reasonably priced, and in a great location in Obidos, steps away from Obidos Castle, great restaurants, and the lovely, quaint streets of Obidos.
