A short walk to the train station, restaurants, and shops. We loved Blackheath as a home base for walking in the National Park. We walked to, and completed, the Grand Canyon walking track one day, the rim walk and Popes Glen another, and trained over to Katoomba to walk the Three Sisters, Giant Stairway, Federal Pass connection to the Furber Steps and Prince Henry Cliff Walk. Fantastic.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the apartment free of charge. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the apartment's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Easy checkin with number pad, lovely grass area for our dog to play in. There were some toys provided! 15 minutes to Katoomba, and serene and quiet at night. Clean and compact, we enjoyed the facilities and unit!

It was close to walks and lookouts, and only a short drive to Katoomba town center. The accommodation was great, warm, clean and comfortable.

Every element, from the furnishings to the quality linen to the hand soaps, was thought about with care and an eye for detail. The hosts were amazing, offering early check in, late check out and had the fridge stocked with fresh farm eggs and a gorgeous loaf of sourdough with butter. They truly thought of everything!!! Sitting on the deck overlooking the skyline view was superb!

When we arrived after a 5 mile hike on the nearby Grand Canyon trail, there were delicious snacks and a vase of beautiful flowers waiting in the immaculate kitchen. To top it off, a flock of gorgeous birds were in the spectacular camellia tree in the yard. It was a true garden oasis!
