We really enjoyed our stay!

The Residenza Motta is a romantic Ticino house with a green Mediterranean courtyard in the heart of Old Town of Locarno, near the Piazza Grande and the Visconti Castle. Nice location in the Old Town. Very gracious and inquiring hosts, helpful with everything. Quiet, with shutters to keep the light out for those needing darkness to sleep. Quite spacious which we really appreciated. Everything was well maintained and clean. Nice view from the windows. Excellent kitchen facilities.

The Garni Villa Siesta Park is a hotel in Losone, a 15-minute walk from Ascona. It features a huge flower garden and a barbecue area. Wonderful oasis with gorgeous backyard garden/pool, beautiful setting, and exceptional staff. Breakfast was delicious and wonderful to have that option before we left.
