Responded quickly when we send a message. We were participating Swissman Extreme Triathlon. And for us as a team it was a perfect place to stay. Not cheap but worth the money. It was calm, 1km to the T1 and registration, excellent airco and it was super clean. If I would ever race Swissman again I would book the place without any hesitation.

La Corte dell’Ulivo is a cozy apartment in the heart of the old town, close to supermarkets and restaurants. We were warmly welcomed by the host with chocolate cakes on the first day. The kitchen is perfect, the apartment is clean and smells great. Super comfy and lovely place to stay!

The Garni Villa Siesta Park is a hotel in Losone, a 15-minute walk from Ascona. It features a huge flower garden and a barbecue area. Sun loungers, umbrellas and a heated outdoor swimming pool are available from May to September, inviting you to relax under the sun.

The double rooms and apartments with kitchen or kitchenette provide a Nespresso coffee machine. Most of them have a balcony. Breakfast was great, in particular local cheese, which I like but a lot was available, boiled eggs, bread and toppings, yogurt, cereals, coffee and much more. More me the location was perfect, because I needed to go to Monte Verità on a daily basis but I did not come by car. It is a much more difficult trip from the Ascona side up the hill. The staff were very polite and helpful, probably more so than in any other place I have been to. I even received a few locally made chocolate bars as a gift upon leaving. Because it is a rather small place and the staff is apparently multiple friends that run the business together, the staff-to-customer rate was extremely high. Because I was there for work, I really didn't have time to do things such as swim in the swimming pool, but the garden and pool area looked really nice.

Exhibition Center Lugano is 43 km from the apartment, while Swiss Miniatur is 47 km from the property. The flat is brand new and gives fantastic space with an outdoor dining area, separate balcony, a really well equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting area and a washing machine. It would make a great base for a longer stay. Basement parking was a bonus too in the heat!
