This apartment has 3 bedrooms, a kitchen with an oven and a microwave, a flat-screen TV, a seating area and 1 bathroom fitted with a hot tub. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. The accommodation offers a fireplace. I only spent one night at Birkifell and in all honesty it was not enough. Birkifell is 100% pure charm and comfort. The cabin is small but comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was pretty much perfect. Coffee machine with coffee, stovetop, oven and microwave, fridge/freezer, cutlery, crockery and cookware. The beds are so comfortable and warm. I slept amazingly well. And now what is truly wow. Hot tub on the verandah with clear, unobstructed views of the sky which was crystal clear. The hot tub was hot, comfortable and clean. The only sound to be heard was me. I have never experienced such quiet and stillness before. It was invigorating. I was sad to have to leave Birkifell but when I come back to Iceland, Birkifell will be my must stay again. I love everything about Birkifell.
