It was a beautiful apartment in a quiet alley. We were able to leave our luggage in a storage space within the apartment complex after check out. This is important for us because this is almost the only reason we avoid booking apartments because there’s no storage for luggage.

We were six people in the apartment, and that worked well even if two had to sleep on the pullout couch. It is a little walk from one of the ferry stops or to the train station, but it is definitely fine if you are healthy and able to carry luggage up and down a few steps of the small bridges in the area. The area is relatively quiet for busy Venice - which we enjoyed, and there are nice restaurants nearby. We recommend Ristorante Caffè dei Fiorì, which had really good seafood.
