It's on a busy road right next to the Taksin Maharat shrine and not far from the old town and the waterfront. There is a lot of traffic noise but the hosts had provided earplugs and I slept well. (I live somewhere very quiet; if you are used to city noises it probably won't bother you as much anyway) It's an easy 5-10 walk to the old town from here. Good breakfast served each day. The room has a fridge and kettle and you can eat there (plates, cutlery etc provided plus a kitchen sink for cleaning up) so good for takeaway/delivery if you don't want to eat out. There's also a shared kitchen with microwave if you want to heat/cook. Bathrobes provided as well as towels which was a nice touch.
