This 2.5-hour tour will offer an inside look into the oldest university in Europe, built in the 11th century. The tour will also give you the chance to learn about the history of Bologna. You'll visit the Piazza San Domenico and the Museo Medievale to see the monuments of iconic professors from the Middle Ages as well as sculptures that show the professors teaching.
A walk to the Archiginnasio Palace will be included, where the city’s schools were housed from the 16th to the 19th century. You'll also see the 17th-century Anatomy Theater featuring wooden sculptures related to the field of medicine.
