We will discover together the historic center of this Magic Town. We will walk its streets, architecture and history step by step. We will start at the statue of Miguel Hidalgo in Plaza de Armas, we will tell you interesting facts of the places we will see as well as recommendations. Our purpose is that you know Parras not as a tourist, but as your second home. We will visit a traditional wine house and know the winemaking process (not to be confused with wine house because we are not going to vineyards) The places described here are just some of the points of interest we will visit. The time needed for this tour is from three hours, the above will depend on the pace of the group walk, the detail they decide to put to the points of interest, as well as the attention to the photographs they are happy to take. The walking distance is just over 3 kilometers, and can be shortened upon request.

This is a unique hike, unlike most tourist activities, in that you will be accompanied by a local biologist that will assist you in finding and identifying the diverse plants and animals of the region. We will be hiking to the canyon of El Silencio and the spring El Ojo de Agua. Both of these trails are located on private property with limited access within the protected area known as the Reserva Especial de la Biosfera Cajón del Diablo. The microclimate at these locations is wetter and cooler than the surrounding desert creating an oasis with an abundance of native fan palms amongst lush vegetation. The habitat resembles tropical deciduous forests found further south and here many tropical species find their most northern distribution.
