The town of Fanari is quaint and beautifully located, with amazing sites located at a short driving distance. We came in the winter and were amazed by the natural beauty of the Rhodope mountains in the distance, the strips of land with the sea on one side and the lagoons on the other, and especially the flamingos grazing in the lagoons. The proximity of the beautiful monastery of Agios Nikolaos is another merit of the location. We hope to come to Nero again in warmer weather so we can swim in the sea and make the most of the amazing local beaches!

Panagiotis was amazing at making us welcome and comfortable. He's got an eye for the small details that make a big difference when hosting people. The pool area is much better than the pictures reveal. It's perfect for younger children and good for adults too. The area around it is spacious and pleasant to spend time after the beach. The place is near a supermarket, a restaurant and a breakfast shop that sells banitsa and ayran. The rooms have generous balconies with a table to sit and enjoy a drink and food. There's parking behind the hotel too.

So when we booked it, we received quick response from owner, also he let is check in in an hour! (Fastest check in ever!!) What is more we get the best room in the building. Our rooms was as clean as possible, all we needed was provided shortly. I made a mistake and booked for 2 instead of 3, but the owner solved that immediately as well. I would love to come back ine day and stay in this hotel
