We staid right on the edge of the lake. We always heard the waves. The cabin is equipped with all you need. The architecture is much nicer than the pictures. Also, Che is a really great person. La Finca la Magia es un albergue situado en la selva, en una pequeña granja ecológica a las afueras de San Ramón, a 40 km de Moyogalpa. Amazing! Well ‘off the beaten path’ for folks who need minimal creature comforts aside from a comfortable bed and beautiful surroundings. Well maintained bungalows raised up over the finca. Incredible and private outdoor showers. Delfa is not only amazing but incredibly patient if you have limited to no Spanish. She’s also an amazing chef who makes beautiful vegetarian dishes from scratch.

La Sirenita - Ometepe se encuentra en Altagracia, a 6,2 km de Volcán Maderas, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado, terraza y bar. The location is beautiful!! Beach huts are clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

La Casa del Artista se encuentra en Esquipulas y ofrece wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y restaurante. Amazing location on the sunset side of the island with a private beach. Great value for money. Very friendly owners with great communication. They make lovely meals. Room was basic but everything was clean and neat and there is a fan for the warm weather. Would definitely return.

Hostal Así es mi Tierra se encuentra en Balgue, a 12 km de Volcán Maderas, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. Charmingly decorated property with a lot of greenery. We had a lovely private cabin with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. Lots of friendly animals on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Playa Casa Nohelia está en Santo Domingo, a 2 min a pie de Playa de Santo Domingo y a 13 km de Volcán Maderas, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, jardín con terraza y vistas al lago. The location is amazing, right by the beach & Nohelia was so kind to us! We recommend renting a scooter though :)

El Hostal Rancho Sabor Isleño - Ometepe está situado en Altagracia, a 46 km de San Juan del Sur, y dispone de restaurante, bar y WiFi gratuita en todas las instalaciones. La comida exquisita, la recomiendo. Definitivamente me volvería a hospedar ahí. Tuvimos un accidente de tránsito y tuvimos que extender nuestra estancia en el hotel, nos atendieron muy bien y buscaron la forma de hacernos sentir cómodas y contactarnos con lo que necesitamos en el momento.

El alojamiento cuenta con servicio de traslado y servicio de alquiler de bicicletas.... Workers really helpful and chill, totally love the vibe of the place. It fits perfectly what you want to experience on this island
