We really enjoyed our stay at Relais Roma Beach. The owner was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The room was very clean, comfortable, and peaceful. We especially appreciated the help with our early airport transfer- it made everything much easier for us. The atmosphere was relaxing, and we truly felt welcomed.

Service - Giorgio (host) is an excellent person who was very kind, helpful and insightful, he mentioned relevant places to visit, methods of getting around and provided us with bikes too, I personally recommend "simply supermarket" which is a 3km bike ride for cheaper lunches or even dinners. Breakfast - Was served from 7am it was a self service with croissants, cereals, tea/coffee, yoghurts, juice, jam, Nutella, and small packaged sweet treats. It was very tasty and filled you up in the heat you do not need to worry about having a large breakfast. Rooms - The room was very clean and modern but still had a charm of sea themed elements. The air conditioning was superb as it helped us cooled down in their extreme heat this was a must as we were not used to the extreme heat. The doors sadly were not sound proof and we could hear other guest sometimes even waking us up, the complex it self is a large house imagine it as family members walking in and out you will simply be able to hear them, perhaps for the future sound proof can be installed. The bathroom was clean and spacious but small on the shower head size. The bed was comfortable and the pillows provided were soft. Finally there was a large model like mirror presented in the room which was highly apricated. Area - Fregene is a lovely beachside area however the majority of the beach is private and is priced quite high in our opinion, we recommend going to the free side of the beach which is a only a 5 minute walk even better around the early morning/evening to avoid the peak UV sun rays as there is no sun umbrellas (side note bring a parasol to Rome) In the evenings it is more lively due to the parties and bars which if that is something you like it a must to visit, there are also quiet areas of the beach at night for more romantic walks.

Conveniently located around the corner from a couple of shops and cafes, and only a few hundred metres from the main restaurant/cafe area in one direction, and from the seaside and beach clubs in another. The host was absolutely lovely. Couldn’t have asked for a sweeter, more helpful host.

Perfect accommodation for long weekend and vacation. It´s not just an house, but wonderful architecture from shining old times. A lot of space and privacy for 5 people. Enjoyable pool and beautiful garden. Good location – best beach area, restaurants (recommend Controvento), grocery store also not far. And of course - greetings to the best host Daniele!

The distance from the FCO airport was a bit of a difficulty when getting transportation for a reasonable cost. $55 euros was a bit steep each way and I would have paid a bit more for a closer to airport hotel and still saved money had I known taxi cost in advance. Beach access was blocked by private beach clubs as well.

Continental breakfast with ham, cheese eggs, toast, cakes, fruit and yoghurt. Excellent americano coffee and juices. Only 9 euros each, good value. There is a restaurant on the beach same hotel. But swimming pool not open until June.
