Thanks to the professional yet friendly service from Cristina, Paola, and Gerardo, I had an incredibly comfortable stay. This hotel was truly wonderful overall. ・Due to strikes and travel disruptions from Japan and Malta, my arrival was a bit complicated—but Cristina responded quickly and helped put my mind at ease. ・I also booked an airport transfer, and Paola, the driver, was very kind and professional. She got me to the hotel smoothly and stress-free. ・The bed and towels were fluffy and comfortable, and the room was spotless. While you might hear a bit of noise from the surroundings, it’s quiet at night so it didn’t bother me. ・For breakfast, Gerardo served freshly baked, fluffy cake and made the best cappuccino I’ve ever had—it was honestly unforgettable! ・The hotel has a lovely restaurant, and I truly regretted grabbing takeaway at the airport instead. Next time, I definitely want to dine there. ・In the morning, birds were singing in the beautifully maintained garden—such a peaceful and charming touch.

I am using book.com since 2010 and its a first time my stayed was unexceptional. All services including facilities were excellent. The behavior of landlord very polite and friendly, he provided the pick & drop service from air port. As our stay was short, he also gave us a tour of main city and tourist places under very reasonable charges. Very near to airport. Next time I will stay at least 3-4 nights.

Beautiful home, well located and conveniently close to the airport. Place is impeccable, great attention to details and little perks that make your stay more pleasant. I liked how close it was to airport and the beach. How ever the lack of public transport is a put off. It was problem to get to Airport I booked a taxi for 10am and at 10:30 still not arrived. They definitely don’t like short trip. Airport 2km. Thanks to cleaner a lift was found to get us to airport by 11am

If you're staying here because you have an early flight --...

If you're staying here because you have an early flight -- it's perfect. Or if you have kids and want a basic beach near Rome. But I would not recommend this town for site seeing. It's a normal town. Nothing bad about it but not a town I'd recommend to visit on vacation intentionally.

I think Focene is mostly a destination for Romans, and it has a reputation as a little run down, but it's also safe seeming, and just fine and there are modest beach clubs. (Restaurant, umbrellas, showers, etc). I'd say it's 'nothing fancy but totally decent'. It is however a GREAT option if you are flying in or out of Fiumincino and don't want to deal with logistics of getting into Rome or paying for an expensive hotel. Someone in Tuscany joked that all I would find there was rats. This was unwarranted. Some areas definitely need fixing up and I saw more trash certainly than Tuscany, but it's fine and safe and just kind of rambling. My rental apartment was 0.5 blocks to a beach club where I would have totally been open to a couple hours at the beach if the timing and weather were right. (I was there early morning on a cloudy day)

Within walking distance of the apartment, there is a fruit market, small grocery and a few restaurants, BUT, we noticed many restaurants were closed on Tuesdays. Also, we had no way to hail a taxi from the streets and UBER is very expensive.

This is a relatively small, compact airport and the methods for moving travelers to their gates is good. Only slight negative is having to travel through a gauntlet of high-end stores without a means of avoiding a walk-through of their midst.

It's a wonderful spot, like an oasis, clean, comfortable...

It's a wonderful spot, like an oasis, clean, comfortable with very professional and friendly service and they have an onsite restaurant that serves really good food for dinner! The rooms are adequately sized and really quiet and after we checked in we walked a block to the beach and then went to their rooftop to have a glass of wine—the atmosphere was very relaxing and lovely!

We stayed in Focene for just one night.

We stayed in Focene for just one night. We walked around the neighborhood and down by the beach. We were too early in the season to get a real feel for the beach scene. The beach was clean and there appeared to be some fun restaurants there (unfortunately not open for the season).

Manuel can to get us at the train station.

Manuel can to get us at the train station. We were only staying one night. We had to catch an early flight home. He took us to the airport on time and we were very happy with the way we were treated. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. We went to a restaurant very close to the property that was excellent. They modified the menu for us to make us happy.
