The house is very nice and everything extremely clean. We stayed only one night after landing in Rome and being on our way to Umbria and Tuscany. Didnt want to enter the hectic big city for only one night. Didnt regret our choice since Tivoli is a lovely town. The value for money was good and the view was especially great.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, B&B Il Giardino offers accommodation in Tivoli, 600 metres from Villa d'Este. The rooms are fitted with a flat screen TV.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Next Stop 28 offers pet-friendly accommodation in Tivoli. Free private parking is available on site. Each room has a private bathroom.
Great access to town and countryside. Tivoli has lots of character and amazing views, plenty of places to eat and shop, and to immerse yourself in true Italian culture.
I'd recommend the Villa d'Este and Villa Adriana (Hadrian's Villa), both of which can be done in one day, although allow more time for the latter, and bring a packed lunch as there are no catering facilities.

Tivoli is a great town outside of Rome. If you are looking for old character, charm, and beautiful gardens, you have found your spot. Food was great at all locations. I would recommend spending a lot of time Villa di Este.

The park of Villa Gregoriana has stunning views of the waterfalls and is a must natural attraction when visiting Tivoli.
Villa D'Este is a magnificent example of the Italia Villas of the Renaissance, with its beautiful gardens and many fountains.
These two locations and the overall historical city area are easily reachable all within walking distance. The historic downtown also offer many eating alternatives.
Villa Adriana is one of the most majestic archeological sites of the Roman Empire, truly impressive in its scale and content.
Plan for a three nights stay in order to have two full days to visit the city.

Wonderful area to explore and use as a base to visit Rome.
Wonderful area to explore and use as a base to visit Rome. Fly into Ciampino. Public transport and parking is good. Prepare to walk up hill on occasions in town. Villa d'este well worth a visit BUT beware of payment on entry. (See Tip) Driving can be either exciting or challenging. Make sure if you go on the toll roads you understand how they work and how to pay. Local food is really reasonably priced if you choose well. "Botega del Grano" is an excellent choice in Tivoli.

Tivoli is a great location especially if you have previously visited Rome. It is much cheaper than Rome for food and drink and the quality of food is very good. For example we visited a restaurant in Rome for lunch - a restaurant we had previously visited - cost for lunchtime pasta for four with four beers and two Aperol Spritz 107 Euro's. Night time meal in Tivoli at a restaurant specializing in food from Tuscany for starters, meat main courses, six beers and 4 Aperol Spritz cost 117 Euro's.
Tivoli offers easy access to Rome via Train. To be honest having visited Rome before was disappointed with how expensive it has become, entry to alot of the venue's had massively increased in price and hour long queues. Also found the city very dirty.

If you like quaint rustic italy, this is for you, gorgeous scenery, lots to do but do homework first as if you do not have a car, the public transport needed a recky first. Not all cafes open on a Monday, but when they are the food is lovely and very reasonably priced. Taverna de Dracula is a must fir romanian cuisine
The Hotel itself was clean and comfortable but the restaurant was such a disappointment. There was a buffet available but unfortunately everything was either cold or lukewarm. I ordered from a menu accessed from my mobile but that was also lukewarm by the time it arrived. The weather was very cold for Italy and something hot would have been appreciated. Even the coffee from the machine was cold.
Simone is an excellent host; he provided first class service by making dinner reservations for our family group of 9 at an excellent restaurant. He also pulled some strings to arrange for taxi service for all of uas s to the train station. He made our stay in Tivoli extra special.
Beautiful renewed flat right in the city centre, surrounded by beautiful restaurants and bars. The host was lovely and always available to give recommendations. I definitely recommend staying here :)
The location is great - within the historical core of Tivoli. The apartment was recently renovated and has everything needed for a cozy stay. It is also a good place to work - wifi is stable.
