Hotels That Guests Love in Levanto
  • Lovely spot with great views from the small roof terrace, and easy access to the town, beach and restaurants. Breakfast in the garden is a nice option. Levanto is a lovely town, not too many tourists and lots of Italian visitors. Great access to the Cinque Terre and a peaceful spot away from that madness.

  • The hotel is centrally located in Levanto for access to the beach and the train station for visiting Cinque Terre. Breakfast was great. The staff were friendly. Great to have free parking right across the road.

  • Beautiful, keynote villa in a wonderful location mere meters from the Ligurian beach and waterline. Levanto is not just beach, it is a hub for the many sentieri... key to exploring the breath-taking lands of Cinque Terre just over the hill to the South East. Just round the headland is one of the Med's rare Marine Conservation Parks... yes, hire a snorkel not a powerboat.

  • We loved the appartment at Levanto. Everything was there, also a small terrace to have some food and a drink. The availability of the bikes is great! 5 minutes to the beach, train station and the Conad supermarket. Back up the hill is a little longer. The host, Davide, told us a lot about what to do, see and were to eat. To visit Cinque Terre it was a very good place to be. Tips: do the boat trip to all places! (Davide's tip). Looking forward to come back.

  • This is a family owned B&B with a very warm and helping owners. Everything we asked for (wine opener, beach towels, wifi) they immediately took care of it and with a big smile. Great home made breakfast. The owners gave us a parking permit and a parking map that really helped a lot when it comes to park in Levanto.

This wide, sandy beach is the perfect place to bask in the glorious Ligurian sun. Hundreds of turquoise parasols flutter in the gentle, Mediterranean breeze, and mirror the calm waters of the Ligurian coast. A variety of beach-side restaurants are dotted along the shoreline, so you can enjoy a cappuccino, glass of wine or tasty gelato as you top up your tan.

The beach means different things to different people. What did the beach in Levanto mean to you?

The beach was the best that I saw in my Cinque Terre travels. Not only did it have sand beaches (most I saw in 5T were rocky) but the ocean was crystal clear and quite warm. There were a lot of people on the beaches/swimming - but I did not feel like it was too crowded. Levanto was a great place to stay, if we had stayed in any of the 5T towns I would have been bored at night. Levanto had a lot going on at night and there was always another place to explore. There are no sharks/large animals in the area and I found myself at peace taking long swims a few hundred feet out from shore.
Levanto is a great option for visiting the Cinque Terre. Levanto is a little more "gritty" then the villages of the Cinque Terre. I don't mean this in a bad way, more that the town had more personality then the actual Cinque Terre villages (that said, we did not stay in any the of Cinque Terre we only passed through on our hikes).
Was quite crowded with rows of chairs and umbrellas for rent, but we went later in the afternoon as there were a bit fewer people. Water was warm and can't beat saying you swam in the Ligurian Sea!
Swimming in the ocean, laying in the sun. Both public and private (with umbrella) available.
