Offering free breakfast, on-site parking and free WiFi, Byron Palms Guesthouse & Spa - Adults Only is a 10-minute walk from Byron Bay main beach. Guests can relax and enjoy the garden and deck areas, and make use of the shared lounge and kitchen areas. Completely exceeded my expectations. The house was charming, the room beautiful, the bathroom sparkling. Philipp was super nice, loved enjoying breakfast and chatting with him and other guests. The breakfast is simple, but I was very content with my raisin toast and good coffee. The sauna and steam room costs extra, but was a fair price, and was a fantastic experience, because you rent it out and can use it alone. Also, there is a wonderful fancy supermarket across the street called Bay Grocer. I stayed here and also at a more expensive / luxurious hotel in Byron, and I honestly preferred Byron Palms and wished I just stayed here the whole time! It is charming, homey, and I am dying to go back and stay longer!

Originally built in 1887, the beautifully renovated Heritage Guesthouse Hotel is situated in the centre of South West Rocks, with shops and restaurants on the doorstep. The beach is only 150 metres away. The owner, sadly I can’t remember her name but she was amazing, nothing too much trouble. Happy, generous, well organised
