Absolutely wonderful, clean and so accommodating. The owner was gracious and kind. what a gem of a place. The charming atmosphere and delicious breakfast was such a pleasure. Situated in Gatehouse of Fleet, 49 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club, Masonic Arms Gatehouse has a number of amenities including a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The food was excellent, stapp were top. Quirky practical interiors very well done.

Me and my son loved this place, the owners are lovely, beautiful surroundings in the country side, our dog had a lot of fun exploring our own pet friendly garden which is all enclosed to each lodge privately, the hot tub was amazing and even though it rained here and there…we were able to still use as it’s got a roof to keep u protected, they even left us a little valentines card on arrival, plenty of extras u can get and great prices, no need to take wood as there is wood to buy at the lodge and not expensive at all, the fire pit is also lovely, my fave part at night, they also supply a separate bbq, we never used due to the time of year, highly recommend “the pub” (actual name) only 15 min drive and good prices if u fancy a meal out, our favourite trip so far and we’ve done glamping trips before, can’t wait to return, highly recommend :)

Great views with lots of wildlife and walks nearby. We ordered the breakfast hampers each morning and they were delicious. There are 7 little cabins and they are great for any kind of trip. The Alder cabin also has a hot tub which was an added bonus! Elen was very responsive and incredibly helpful!

Everything was exceptional.The beds were very comfortable. The apartment was clean and well laid out. It was very well located in town and very close to the port.

Nice garden, perfect breakfast. And very nice ambience and a very nice house.
