Offering a terrace and views of the sea, The Olive Yard is set in Gytheio in the Peloponnese Region, 50 km from Kalamata. Monemvasía is 44 km from the property. The entire property was exceptional, definitely exceeding our expectations. We think this was the best value for money during our four weeks in Greece. Highlights were: the large, comfortable and private terrace, where we enjoyed snacks and wine from town; the extremely helpful staff both for our needs during our stay and for information about the area; and the grounds around the building. The view from the terrace was great.

Loved walking across to the fantastic breakfast in the morning then relaxing on the sunbeds in the afternoon (with cleansing swims in between). The people stood out most of all. Shout out to Maria and Christoph who really looked after us for the week. Would 10/10 recommend if you crave a truly relaxing holiday.

We really enjoyed this typical stone structure with a warren of rooms up a staircase. We had a duplex room with a balcony where we were served our breakfast. It is just 20 meters down the beach to a fantastic restaurant. In the morning the owner took us for a ride around the bay on his boat which was a real treat. The warm welcome by the owner and his lively young family were a big plus. We would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Monodendri and will return next year for sure. The location is ideal, near the village but not right inside. The sea was on our doorstep, we sat on our veranda and soaked in the view. The apartment was perfect in size with great aircon, comfy beds and espresso machine. The staff were so friendly and warm. Our stay was perfect and we didn't want to leave.

It’s a new property, well appointed and very close to the main village. Close to the great beaches but has a good size pool too.
