The hostel is located in a beautiful spot and offers a lot of fun activities to do, such as kayaking, a chocolate workshop, or if you’re looking to relax—lying in a hammock or getting a massage. In the evenings, if you feel like it, you can play games with fellow travelers. The staff members and the owner are incredibly kind and helpful. Every evening a delicious family-style dinner was prepared. I have some allergies, and they adjusted my meals perfectly for me without any trouble.

The manager is incredibly friendly and truly goes out of his way to make guests feel welcome. He was always available via WhatsApp and helped us organize a private boat transfer to and from the hotel. He also arranged a tour for us the next day, which was absolutely amazing. Another huge highlight is the hotel restaurant — easily the best around. Many guests from other hotels even come here just for the food. We highly recommend trying the lobster; it was delicious and very affordable. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

The building is very nice and well maintained. The staff is very helpful. Enrique is the best. The menu is simple but suitable for a few days. Rio Dulce is a 5-minute boat ride away. The sunset is amazing.

I stumbled upon this place on Booking at the last minute. It turned out to be a wonderful place to stay. The staff is excellent - super attentive and very kind! The food is amazing and prices are reasonable! We stayed in a private room with private bath. The mosquito nets over the bed were a lifesaver. The bed was comfortable. The shower and bath were actually outside, which was unique and fun for a few days! There’s no hot water but after a day outside in the heat that wasn’t such a big deal. The location is perfect! 100% recommended!

We booked this hotel as we were driving to our destination. I called and asked if they would let us check in at midnight and they were happy to have us. When we arrived, they greeted us, showed us to our room, and said we could deal with the paperwork in the morning. When we woke up in the morning, I was astounded by their beautiful location, tranquility around the river, and excellent restaurant. The paperwork was fast and we had a delicious meal before continuing on our journey.I wish we had more time to enjoy their pool and riverfront views.
