We spent 3 nights of our honeymoon in Lankavatara Ocean Retreat & Spa and it was just perfection! The hotel is beautifully designed, staff went over and above and even did a beautiful arrangement in our room as congratulations for our honeymoon. We felt so welcomed! The restaurant food is delicious, we enjoyed the ocean view pool and yoga in the morning. 10/10 highly recommended!

The best stay we had in Sri Lanka so far , the owner was super nice he did everything he could for us and more . The room was very clean and shower had hot water. He prepared the best breakfast for us in the morning and arranged the transport for our next destination. Highly recommend

We spent two wonderful weeks in this lovely place — time just flew by. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help with anything — from scooter rentals and transfer arrangements to great tips on what to see around the hotel. Breakfasts are varied and delicious, and there’s a nice, clean pool on the hotel grounds. The ocean is just a 5‑minute walk away, and the nearest swimming spot is about 10 minutes. The territory is well‑kept, with lots of greenery, birds, and chipmunks; we even spotted monkeys and monitor lizards nearby — the nature here is amazing. The hotel restaurant offers excellent cuisine with a diverse menu and tasty dishes. The bar serves both alcoholic and non‑alcoholic cocktails. I highly recommend this place — it’s a wonderful spot to relax, and one you’d definitely want to come back to!

Tango Sunrise Villa se află în Tangalle, la 6 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja din Tangalle, și oferă un lounge comun, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. The host family was very nice. We enjoyed every moment we stayed in tangalle. Fully recommended!

Omkara Rekawa se află în Tangalle, la 7 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja din Tangalle, și pune la dispoziție o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, un bar și parcare privată gratuită. Locatia este superba, intr un colt verde, cu maimute prin copaci, veverite, pasari. Sunt 4 vilute cu o singura camera. Toaleta din aer liber a fost o minunatie!! Patul confortabil. Piscina binevenita dupa zile calduroase. In oceanul de langa locatie e destul de greu sa faci baie, e cam periculos, pentru copii, no way!

I can honestly say, from the bottom of my heart, that this was the place I enjoyed spending my time the most, and the hosts are without a doubt the best. From start to finish, I have absolutely nothing, but nothing at all, to criticize. We rented two cabanas/villas, and the conditions were excellent. Both the interior and exterior spaces were very spacious, and the beds were equipped with mosquito nets to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. The breakfast is truly amazing! Prepare to enjoy delicious food! We loved it so much that we ended up having dinner at the hotel every night. The meals were authentic Sri Lankan dishes, prepared with so much care and love (it really felt special). The attention and care from Sandhu and his family are incredible. Sandhu was always there to help, whether it was giving the best recommendations for places to visit, arranging trips, suggesting local events and parties, helping with tuktuk rentals, laundry, or anything else we needed during our stay. We were genuinely very happy here, and I sincerely wish Sandhu and his family all the success they deserve. They truly go above and beyond, and I will definitely return in the future. I will also recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tangalle. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss! Unfortunately, the maximum rating is 10, because this hotel truly deserves so much more!

The beachside is simply stunning, offering peace and quiet throughout the stay. The food was excellent, the swimming pool was refreshing, and the cleanliness of the property was flawless. What truly stood out was the exceptional service — the staff went above and beyond, making the stay feel warm and personalized.
