The little village of Llachon which can be reached with a little walk, is very cute and away from any touristic agitation. The food they serve is amazing too! To be short, don’t hesitate and stay at la Casa de Valentin, it’s perfect 👍🏻

Hands down the best place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Mariluz and Henry are sweet, hospitable, and highly accommodating hosts! Their home is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. You need not worry about looking for a place to eat either as Mariluz can make you lunch and dinner everyday, for a very good price. I loved the meals! My room had an amazing view of Lake Titicaca. Absolutely, a relaxing oasis. The place is located near the pachamama and pachatata trails. If you want to come to this wonderful island, you should pay for the full day Uros and Amantani tour. To return to Puno, you can take a local boat and then a couple of collectivos back (about 23 soles) to Puno. Check with Henry about the times. Also, I learned a lot about the Amantani culture during my stay. I ended up buying some souvenirs and beanies that Mariluz herself made. Amazingly talented and resourceful family. I had a great time.

The property is very well kept and clean. It has amazing views of the Laguna and is sheltered from the wind. The rooms are cosy and there is plenty of space to relax. The meals are delicious and generous portions. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved staying here and would stay again in the future if we return.

The room and views were beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious. Seeing a bit of the family life and taking the kayaks out added to the magic~ would absolutely recommend!

Com vista para a cidade, titicaca lodge - LUQUINA fica em Luquina e tem restaurante, um lounge compartilhado, bar, jardim, terraço e parquinho infantil. Breakfast was delicious and it was flexible regarding the time. There are not really any restaurants there, so we were thankful that the host cooked for us for a good price (lunch and dinner for 15 dollars a person) - she cooked very good and 3 courses each time. Vegetarian option available. The parking spot was great, directly in front of the house. The room was very big and comfortable, the bed was nice and we had a lot of blankets to be warm during the night. The view is amazing, directly next to Titicaca lake. Bathroom was good with a shower (and bathtub) and warm water. WiFi was great. We didn't have that much contact to the hosts and children like other reviews but they were very nice.

They pick you up/drop you at the port, offer their own tours around the Uros and help organise tours to the other islands. Different options for meals (including vegetarian), quite good and at a good price. Hot beverages for free. Plenty of blankets to cope with the cold at night.
