Boasting a garden and a shared lounge, La Vida Hostel Samal Island is located in Samal. This 2-star bed and breakfast has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Free WiFi is available. The first room they offered us was beside a freshly painted room so the smell was kinda lingering on our room. But as we requested the owner to have us transferred, they were so considerate to change us to a more comfortable one. Staff were also attentive and nice. But we were just shocked about the 10PM curfew. I also love how they have complimentary breakfaat :)

I love how cozy the place feels the perfect escape from the noise of the city. It’s a great spot to unwind, de-stress, and reflect. Best of all, it’s the perfect place to spend quality time with your parents. I also appreciate that they have 24/7 staff in the lobby. I stayed overnight for work, and since I work at night, it gave me peace of mind knowing I could always ask for assistance even though the place was completely quiet. Plus, unlimited service water was a huge bonus since I needed to stay hydrated the whole night.

Hof Gorei Resort is a peaceful getaway located on Samal Island, offering cozy bungalows surrounded by tropical gardens. Honestly the photos dont do this place the justice it deserves. The accomodation was excellent, very clean and tidy. The food was amazing and the location idyllic. The butler service really was the cherry on top and gave a personalised experience for myself and my girlfriend.
