This place was really "a home away from our home". Comfort, stuff was very helpful, spacious, facilities. The food was totaly enough, free quality coffee, nicely decorated common area where we were able to sit and relax. Also in good surrounding area, small park in front of the hotel with cinema and small shopping mall in front of the door...Our home in Stockholm indeed.

Charming small cabin with a wonderful view of the lake. The cabin is located in a small settlement of approx 20 cabins, but as this cabin is located at the outskirts, you forget that there are other houses in the neighborhood. We got the code to open the door by message prior to arrival, super convenient. The cabin itself is well-designed, very nicely decorated (dalahäst theme) and practical. The room for the children with three bunk beds is really tiny, no storage space at all, but it worked. The master bedroom and the bathroom are surprisingly spacious. The kitchen is functional and even has a small but very efficient dishwasher (dishwasher tabs are not provided). The area is wonderful for all sorts of winter sports. We intended to do iceskating on the lake but unfortunately, the ice wasn't cleared for skating. We opted for cross-country skiing instead and were enchanted by the variety and the lovely countryside. A downhill skiing area is about 5 min away by car.

Our room was tastefully decorated in a classic Nordic style, giving it a charming and authentic feel—perfect for visitors coming from abroad. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, and the entire property is impeccably clean. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic—varied, high-quality, and thoughtfully prepared. As a lovely bonus, we were able to enjoy Sunday breakfast outside in the garden thanks to the great weather. The staff were outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and full of helpful recommendations for things to do in the area. They were always willing to assist with anything we needed. An amazing stay overall. We can’t wait to come back!

The location was simply perfect, accessible by public transport from Stockholm central station while being in nature. Can you imagine being in the middle of the woods of the Stockholm archipelago during the fall, biking to a natural reserve or going down to the sea by foot? That's how amazing it was - no noise, pure bliss. The jacuzzi was a wonderful plus. Viktor was very welcoming, so were his two cats, and the breakfasts were BIG (and delicious). I cannot recommend it enough, it really has a special place in my heart!
