I absolutely loved my stay here! The hostel is in a convenient location, making it easy to get around, yet it’s incredibly quiet and peaceful—perfect for a good night’s rest. The best part, though, has to be the hosts. They are truly amazing, and May, the owner, went above and beyond to make my trip unforgettable. Her friendly personality and thoughtful tips and recommendations saved the day more than once. She genuinely cares about her guests, which made the experience even more special. We had an absolutely incredible stay at Mahina Villa Resort! We stayed in the Elysia Suite, and I cannot recommend it highly enough—it was stunning. The location is unbeatable, sitting right on the beach while still feeling secluded and peaceful enough to completely unwind. What really made the stay special, though, was the staff. They were amazing, incredibly attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The only minor bump was that the initial communication regarding the ferry process was a little confusing, but it all worked out fine in the end and certainly didn't dampen our experience. If you are looking for a peaceful beach getaway on Koh Samet, this is the place. We’d go back in a heartbeat!
