Beautiful new hotel , with an amazing rooms and a beach near by.Attention to details and design 5+. The restaurant "reef" and meals was super. Breakfast was very delicious, especially croissants ^_^ The staff was smiling and always ready to help. We are couple from Russia, we will definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The lady who run the place is one of the nicest people i met in Thailand. I only stayed one night in Samet but the spot was really nice , cheap , close to the beach and the pier. It's clean and quiet without being isolated. If you can walk 5 minutes , it's really worth every penny.

We loved everything about this resort, staff working soo hard and they are super kind! all resort dogs and cats were cute would take them home :) resort is in the middle of island and easy to get to main town also beach is nice and easy to walk to another beaches next to our resort. it was like heaven on the earth. Bed comfortable AC was working good btw great bfast really enjoyed variety + restaurant view Just bring enought money - there is no ATM at island but easy to exchange money

Beautifully well maintained garden of the property! Spacious bungalows and great Location of the hotel overlooking a quiet beach with a view of the sunset. Good breakfast buffet on the Asian side (rice/stir fries), with a chef present to cook eggs. I didn’t test the continental style.

The island is very good if you just want to relax.

The island is very good if you just want to relax. Many quiet beaches. Most hotels have live music on, and they play easy listen music. If you want to unwind and just chill i would recommend this island.

It's one of my favorite beaches in Thailand, close enough to Bangkok that you don't have to fly, but far enough away that the water is beautiful and the sand is white and soft. I always stay at the same resort on Tubtim beach (Tamarind), and it never disappoints - I don't even leave for food because their food is always delicious!

Loved the Viking Holiday Resort where we stayed.

Loved the Viking Holiday Resort where we stayed. It was very peaceful and just what we needed - good access to beaches and quiet. However there are problems on Ko Samed as many resorts have gone out of business and are derelict - unfortunately with rubbish piling up outside them and nothing being done about that. So it really depends where you stay!
