Gajapuri, which means "Elephant's Empire" in Sanskrit, offers a luxurious tropical experience with its spa and outdoor spa bath. We had an exceptional experience at this resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure every detail was taken care of. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Breakfast was very good.

Absolutely loved our stay, everything was perfect! Super lovely hosting, welcome drinks & fruit, lot’s of cute animals around the property. Easy to rent motorbike from resort, you definitely need one to see the whole island. Delicious food in the on site restaurant. Would come back again!

We originally planned to stay for a week but ended up staying for a whole month. It’s very peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped, which was super convenient, and there’s a river running right next to the property — it’s so nice to listen to. Sometimes you can even spot elephants in the distance, which feels magical. The location is great too: it’s close to everything and there’s also a beach nearby. The staff were wonderful, always kind and helpful. We’d definitely love to come back.

Fantastic breakfast, where we could choose as much as we wanted from an a la carte menu. I guess they offered instead of a buffet as it was low season.

I loved staying here. I felt super comfortable during the stay. The room was very clean, the bed very very comfy and the bathroom, especially the shower lol, was really nice. So was the interior of the room; so cute! But what mostly stood out was how friendly and helpful the staff was. While everyone was amazing, i really want to point out that the young woman that was at the reception mostly in the morning/noon was the sweetest and so so helpful. I’m sorry, I didn’t catch your name. I would recommend everyone to stay here and enjoy the gorgeous sunset on the beach right in front of the hotel :)
