Located in Nanwan, the Moroccan-themed Kenting Amanda Hotel features spacious rooms with flowing drapes and rich colours and free WiFi. It also has an indoor spa pool, restaurant and on-site parking. Amazing hotel, great room, good size, very comfy bed and pillows.

Trying to find a "nice comfortable" hotel in a village fishing port in Taiwan, is not going to be an easy experience, however this contemporary hotel would put many 5 star hotels, worldwide, to shame. The harbour facing rooms are massive, with stunning views, the staff accompany you to your room upon arrival (what hotels do that nowadays?), explaining the facilities, then followed by a complementary afternoon tea. If you become bored with the view or the rooftop swimming pool you can relax and watch the 50+” TV, whilst sipping cool drinks on the balcony. The little things really count here, like the bathroom fittings, top quality, and the super soft luxury towels. Breakfast watching the fishing boats arrive from their night trips, provide a perfect backdrop as one settles down to a feast. Oh, and did I mention the grand piano as you walk through the front door? I am trying to think of an excuse to visit Fangliao again, I just wish more independent hotels were like this one.

Very good and quiet location, 5 minutes to bus stop, beach with good snorkeling opportunity and toilet/shower facilities, a 7-Eleven shop, and a few restaurants. Sheding Park is within walking distance (40 minutes). The building seems to be new and is very nice and clean. Our friendly contact person (I don't know whether he is the owner) responded quickly to our requests and even picked us up from the ferry.

After spending all day at the beach, I could just go back to the b&b in a few minutes. I also enjoyed the TV time（with YouTube, Netflix and Disney) on my bed. The vibe was super chill and relaxing.
