Our room was great we loved the set up and the privacy. Our host was very friendly and respected our privacy. We loved how cozy and relaxing the room was. We definitely plan on a return visit and would recommend this accommodation to friends and family. The location was absolutely perfect to the beach and convenience to the ferry to Newcastle and local shops. The Beach location right across the road was amazing.

Four bedrooms that are all generously sized (and the upper bedrooms have both fans and aircon), two living spaces - one of which feels like a mini cinema!, and a kitchen through to outdoor space perfect for dinner, brunches and outdoor drinks. A lovely deep pool that even has coloured lights for nighttime to add to the evening cocktail mood. A short walk to Birubi beach and the centre of Anna Bay itself. We came for the camel rides and dining at Rick Steins, …. but could honestly have stayed at the house all day. Very easy to do with our host providing a food and wine hamper as a welcome gift. Looking forward to returning.

Set on a quiet 4-acre property, The Retreat Port Stephens offers self-contained accommodation with free Wi-Fi, cooking facilities and a private patio with outdoor setting. Spacious, 2 bedroom bungalow, which was dog friendly which my dogs loved. Retreat is not too big so fairly quiet even during school holidays. Great facilties. Staff were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Close to sand dunes and Anna Bay shopping centre. Will defintely stay again.

Close to beaches and some restaurants and easy driving distance to major attractions. House was well appointed and secure with adequate facilities and dog friendly. Sunsets and sunrises at Birubi Headland nearby were stunning and surf was good.

Gateway Lifestyle Birubi Beach offers accommodation in Anna Bay. Newcastle is 32 km away. Nelson Bay is 9 km from Gateway Lifestyle Birubi Beach. Very family oriented and lovely staff. The cabins were a great holiday size with everything that was needed and located so close to the beach. Great holiday spot.
