I'm going to be fully honest here, before booking I read the reviews and was a little scared, however I'm going to address 1 by 1 on everything I read 1 there was no doubt that the location is great, you can walk anywhere and everything is tops 15 minutes away, we even walked to the airport at 5 am. Staff, always with a smile and willing to help Rooms, they are newly remodeled and are great they have everything you need, a safe, cable, hot water (loved that), comfortable beds, and AC Breakfast, yes it's not inside the hotel but no need to complain, 3 minute walk and service hours are very convenient for breakfast. In general this hotel was a lot more.than I expected.

Frente al mar y rodeado de la magia del Caribe, Portobelo Beach es el lugar perfecto para disfrutar unas vacaciones llenas de descanso, playa y experiencias inolvidables. Every was amazing. Only the breakfast is super poor. The need to increase the quality of the breakfast.

Boasting a rooftop swimming pool and a restaurant overlooking Johny Cay Island, Calypso Beach Hotel offers rooms with plasma TVs in San Andres Island, in front of Spratt Bay Beach. Spacious room with view of the sea. Didn't use the pool so can't comment but was a comfortable stay.
