Jardín de los Monos offers accommodation in Matapalo just a 1 minute walk from the beach. A swimming pool, free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. Beautiful property set in a wonderful lush landscape. A troop of monkeys swinging above our heads by the pool and sloths hanging in the trees around! What else can one hope for?! Our room was very spacious, super clean and quiet. The outstanding artisan breakfast was very filling and delicious. The pool was very relaxing and refreshing and so was the beach which is located just a short stroll away. The sunset on the beach is a must! Our host Letikka made us feel welcome the minute we stepped in and always had time for us despite her busy schedule and gave us tons of local recommendations. We felt safe and taken care of and can only wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and just 100 metres from the beach, Casa Aba Matapalo is located in Matapalo. Free WiFi access is available. Amazing location a minutes walk from a beautiful undeveloped beach in sleepy Matapalo. We had the most wonderful experience on arrival. Almost instantly we saw an Iguana on the roof of the neighbouring room. A capuchin monkey did too and chased the Iguana around the roof before the Iguana jumped off into a hedge! Going downstairs we then saw two slothes in the trees, before heading to the beach and seeing a troop of 50+ monkeys. Was our best nature experience in Costa Rica!! Lovely large room with good facilities too. Highly recommended

Nastanitev COCO Beach Village je v mestu Matapalo, 2 min hoje od znamenitosti Plaža Playa Matapalo, in nudi zunanji bazen, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, vrt ter skupni prostor za druženje. The room was in a lovely, gated property. Unfortunately we were only stopping over on our way back to the airport and didn't get a chance to use the beautiful pool. The room was very clean and tidy and was equipped with a kettle and a coffee maker. Breakfast was served on the upstairs balcony and was fresh and plentiful. The owner was very approachable and booked us a table at the restaurant next door (definitely worth a visit) to save us getting wet through walking into the village!
