Located in the seaside town of Menton, Best Western Premier Hotel Prince de Galles is a 15-minute drive from Monaco and the Italian border. The property is full of history. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Loved the location. Breakfast was excellent. Loved that the hotel was in a pretty older building, right on the beach. Lemon water, and afternoon coffee, tea, and cake were a lovely touch.

This modern, pristine, and comfortable apartment in a large and modern building was fully equipped for cooking (we did not) and also with nice gifts from the owner. One of the nicest touches in our many many visits to France is that the owner and her husband requested to chat with us before we left. They came to the apartment and we had a very pleasant chat covering many topics and not in the least inhibited by the translation efforts made by all . The balcony is large and actually equipped with a grill but in February we preferred the view trough the massive glass doors most of the time. The sea was beautiful and frequently impressively breached the barrier at the edge of the road.
