The clean and spacious little house is perfectly located and it’s really equipped, Effie checked in with us several times during our delightful stay just to make sure that we had everything we needed - we did. Compared to the scene in Lindos, the Pearl of Stegna is an excellent oasis of quiet. Stegna’s restaurants and shops are a short distance away, Taverna Maria is outstanding and incredibly cheap.

We didn’t want to leave. Stegna is a gem - only one big resort at the far end of the beach, the rest are houses, small apartments and local restaurants. So many wonderful dining options. Yes there are some cats (which we personally loved) but they didn‘t come inside and kept to themselves outside. The house itself is very clean and cozy and the kitchen was stocked with some basics and very functional. The Aircon was really effective. It has an old fashioned style that makes you feel at home immediately. The hosts left us the most massive watermelon we had ever seen (on arrival) and brought us a homecooked meal half way through our stay! It was such a lovely thing to do and so wonderful to enjoy local Greek meatballs on the terrace of this lovely little house.
