Apartments are 50 meters away from a large beach with all necessary infrastructure and is 20 minutes walk from the old town. The renovation was as it's pictured and the apartment was clean. The mattress was quite comfortable.

The property was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Proximity to the cafe below was great. The balcony was the best part being able to overlook the ocean and the gorgeous sunsets.

The overall location of the place is fantastic given the proximity of the beaches that are there. Everything anyone could ever need to rest journeying throughout Zadar and the many islands that make it up. You can't go wrong with this location!

This was one of the best places I've stayed in recently. Awesome staff. Excellent service. Everything I needed was in the room. Everything was so great that I couldn't find anything to complain about.

Situated in a peaceful area of Zadar, Hotel Kolovare offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony. While exterior esthetics are a bit dated, this hotel is better than we thought. Checkin was easy. Parking was easy, and included. We had a very big room with sea view; a suite in fact; not sure if we were upgraded. There were 3 balconies. The balconies have a kind of tile screen which looks weird from outside but probably makes sense in the hot sun. Air conditioning was good. Bed was good, 2 different big pillows. Bathroom nice, shower in tub; you do have to step into the tub for the shower, maybe a little difficult if your mobility is reduced. Pool area was very nice; a very big round pool, saltwater, and almost warm. From the pool area you can walk down to the beach, by crossing one street. The beach is pebbles, as is usual around here. You can have drinks or lunch by the pool. Breakfast was in a big room, also possible outside, weather permitting. This hotel is also used for groups; hence the breakfast room being large. We didn't do dinner here. Only thing I didn't really like about breakfast: despite the 3 coffee machines, I couldn't find a larger more diluted coffee. Even the lungo seemed like a strong espresso. 15-20 minute walk into downtown old Zadar, depending on your speed, mostly flat. There are Ubers and taxis. Easy drive back to the airport on last day. If you want to be able to rest and enjoy pool or beach, while being able to walk into town for the afternoon and evening, this is a very good place. It doesn't have any medieval charm, but it has all the modern comforts!

First of all hosts are great, very responsive and kind, we received a lot of messages about the nearby locations, stores and restaurants including a video how to reach the destination since the apartment is not properly located on Google maps. Location is perfect, just by the beach in a quiet neighborhood with free parking, the kitchen is well equipped and the beds are really comfortable. It was a great stay and we hope to visit again, hopefully when the weather is a bit warmer.

We loved the hot tub and the sun loungers on the terrace, which is hard to come by this close to town. Can’t beat that parking, either!

Very clean, comfortable and nice equipped accommodation. Everything you need for a short or a long stay. Host was very helpful, comunicative, we get al information needed. Absolutely recommend and we are definitely coming back.
