The host Andrea was beyond helpful. He suggested some incredible viewpoints and was always available for any kind of help.

In riva al mare je smeštajni objekat sa pogledom na more, koji smešten je u gradu Kaljari, na nekoliko koraka od znamenitosti Plaža Poetto i 44 km od znamenitosti Nora. The host, Maria, is very nice. She even gave my kids Easter chocolate eggs. The property is located in a great place, Poetto. 5 minutes walk to the shop, 2 minutes walk to the bus stop, 1 minute walk to the beach. Poetto is like a peninsula, on one side you have the sea and the beach (and a great route for a walk, jogging, or cycling) and on the other - salinas with flamingoes. You go through the property's gate, and you see the hill, La Sella del Diavolo. The bus costs 1.30 Eur for 90 minutes, you can use it go to the historical centre of Cagliari, or the place to watch flamingoes etc. For 2.60 Eur you can come to the property from the airport by train and bus PF or PQ. The property has everything we needed, both for adults and small kids.

Right on the seafront, Hotel La Villa Del Mare is an early 20th-century villa offering rooms with a sea-view balcony and free WI-Fi in public areas. The kindest, most polite, friendly and thoughtful staff. The room was pristine, the bed amazingly comfortable. Gorgeous, fresh white sheets. The bathroom was modern and showers were hot. I cannot rate this place high enough. Breakfast was tasty, I loved the scrambled eggs and also the fresh, ‘natural’ fruit juice. The hotel is next to the beach with a huge relaxing walkway separating the hotel from the beach. No worries about cars. Such a wonderful way to say goodbye to this beautiful island, Sardinia. Smešten u Kaljariju, hotel Nautilus nudi baštu, bar i pogled na plažu Poeto. Besplatan bežični internet dostupan je u svim prostorijama. Sve sobe sadrže flat-screen TV, klima-uređaj i mini-bar. Location is as perfect as it can be, first line in front of Poetto beach and less than 100m from La Sella del Diavolo beach bar, where the hotel keeps sun loungers you can use for free during your stay, additionally you can borrow a beach umbrella from the hotel for free and you can rent beach towels for a one time 3 EUR fee/person for your stay. The location is good for runners/bikes with dedicated lane on street, supermarket Despar was half a km away or ~7 min walk. The area has lot of restaurants, beach bars and it is not far away from the port. The beach was nice for us, it is shallow with crystal clear water, but the beach can get busy in afternoon. The hotel has a pool which is not that big but wasn't that busy for us during a peak summer period. Room was decently sized, cleaned daily and towels can be changed daily if you request it, AC was working fine and was okay to leave on entire night without feeling dry and cold in the morning. Slippers were provided. Breakfast was in a buffet format, many croissants, basic eggs and bacon, sweets, porridge, yogurt etc. For a summer holiday stay in Italy it was a good breakfast offer. Staff are very, very friendly so just ask questions about anything you need or you have problems with. The hotel doesn't have an iron, but the staff were kind enough to lend us a steamer for our clothes. They also arranged taxi for us both for arrival and departure from the airport with no hiccups. The hotel has several recommendations for restaurants, including one of their own which has a small discount. Cagliari is 15 minutes by bus, stop is 3 min walk from hotel, ticket costs 1.3 EUR one-way/person buy at the beach bar. The highlight for us was the fact the hotel is fine to allow the use of beach towel and lending of sun loungers, beach umbrella as well as provide access to pool for people who have already checked out on their last day. You can store the luggage safely and there is a toilet near the reception.
