Our stay at Ikal Tulum was pure magic. The hotel is nestled in the jungle, just steps—literally less than 50 meters—from the beach, which made every morning feel like a scene from a postcard. The peaceful, natural surroundings created a sense of escape we didn’t know we needed. We ended up staying at the hotel the entire time because the restaurant was fantastic, with surprisingly reasonable prices for Tulum. Everything we needed was right there. Honestly, there’s nothing we didn’t like—it was paradise for four days.

An absolutely magical place! The jungle setting was incredible, the access to the beach was perfect, and the pool was amazing, with plenty of sun loungers everywhere. The accommodation itself was a charming little cabin, and we felt absolutely wonderful there.

Just incredible to sleep then looking at the stars whenever I woke up. The location on the beach is perfect and you can walk to the Tullum ruins easily.

Everything is great. The location is very wild and has a unique vibe. The beach is the best in all the area. The water is very clear and the beach is very clean. It obsviouly that they really take care of the beach. So, if you want a wild experience, this the perfect place.

Allow yourself the opportunity to enjoy. Enjoy happiness, rays of the sun, a beautiful beach and breathtaking views. Very romantic boutique hotel. Our amazing room on the top floor had private balcony and hot tub overlooking the ocean. We slept with the whole room open to the ocean listening to the surf. It's in a highly protected area. We could tell local ex-pats also come here for the intimate bar and restaurant which serves delicious Thai in the evening. Very close by are other restaurants, and downtown Tulum. It overlooks beautiful waters, connects to the beach, and is close to the Tulum Mayan ruins. The front desk really helped us and arranged everything we asked including a personal driver for the day who took us to Yal-ku lagoon and Akumal Beach for snorkeling (probably the two best places).
