This hotel offers rooms with a balcony only 50 metres from the beach in Scheveningen. Carlton Beach includes wellness facilities and one restaurants. It was a pity that the hotel was still being refurbished. But the staff were extremely helpful . No doubt now it will be super to stay and have restaurant facilities. Being a booking for same day for 2 rooms and easter we were lucky to find the Charlton beach hotel. Would highly recommend it. Also handy that the tram stops in front of the hotel.

We briefly met Kitty which was an unexpected bonus as she is very kind. I really liked the bed as it felt like being in a treehouse.

Strandhotel er et lite familiehotell som vender ut mot stranden. Du kan starte dagen med en god frokost i den koselige spisesalen med sjøutsikt. The hotel was very nice. The decorations for Christmas were amazing and the people put in a good effort, so that you feel nice and welcome. Very cosy vibe. I had a problem with the shower, but the lady showed me and fixed the issue (she also suggested that otherwise she will get me to another room). Very nice and fast service.

Sea view, 2 minute walk to the beach and all the beach restaurants, 5-10 minute walk to a lovely bakery for breakfast, and a 5 minute walk to the tram/bus stop to go into the city if you want.
