The volunteers were super friendly and kept arranging fun hostel outings and activities that made it effortless to meet other travelers and feel at home right away. The hammocks look straight out over the water, and being steps from the beach meant an easy, peaceful swim any time of day. Kayaks are available to paddle to nearby islands, which was a memorable little adventure between chill sessions. The music—played by the local volunteers and on most of the time—set a calm, laid‑back vibe that made the whole place feel incredibly soothing. The food was tasty and fairly priced, so eating in never felt expensive and the portions hit the spot. Overall, OIA is that rare mix of community, comfort, and breathtaking views that makes leaving hard—highly recommend.

The Nest El Nido Beach Resort offers air conditioning rooms with free WiFi. This property in El Nido is within 9 km of Big Lagoon El Nido and Small Lagoon El Nido. It is so quiet and peaceful and yet right next to El Nido centre. The hotel grounds and rooms are spotless and kept so well. Lovely wooden floors in the bedrooms and restaurant. Beautiful view from restaurant/bar and pool area. Staff were the extremely helpful.

Far enough away from the El Nido Beach scene to be quiet and peaceful and close enough to be able to go to town and grab food and drinks when desired. Felt like we were in a smaller village 😊 Good room and great balcony. Front garden area has a lovely hammock overlooking the water.

We liked the location, cleanliness, little patio where you can enjoy your cup of coffee. Staff was very friendly and helpful all the time. Quite place compared to staying in the middle of the town. Very good price too! We will be back for sure.

The staff where amazing as they couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome, they where friendly and always smiling. The cottages where away from traffic and noise. The area had nice garden with with beautiful views of the sea and mountain and access. You can enjoy a delicious breakfast with the views. Room was spacious and comfortable.
