The Vellago resort is a little gem in paradise. We enjoyed every second during our five nights. Already from the beginning, we know it was the right decision. The whole team welcomed us while we approached the resort by boat. The rooms are beautiful decorated and enough space to get some privacy if necessary. The bar and restaurant at the beach have great drinks and special dishes, fresh cooked, even the bread was self made. Every day you have a different menu with local and international dishes. Some day we just relaxed at the resort, some days we made excursions, like the 1 day trip to the island with the speedboat. We have been so impressed about the health of every spot we visited. We got paella for lunch with fresh fruits and drinks. Another day we had a sunset trip to a hidden beach where and got one of the best sunset ever. The whole team is very service oriented and friendly. A big thank to Hirwan. His happy personality and professionalism keeps the whole team together and gave all the guest the feeling to be special and feeling home.

We loved the location in the back alley, among the locals but may not be for everyone. The house itself is really clean and nice. Bathroom is good, with good water pressure.

Hosts were amazing, really helpful with tour information and even walked us to the pier ahead of one of our boat trips. Location is great too, in the middle of town so we were exactly where we needed to be.

After reading some of the reviews, I am confident if this place isn't for you, neither is the Philippines. It may be noisy at times but that is what makes El Nido great - we enjoyed our stay and this neighborhood! Hanna's is located close to the town center, easy to catch a trike anywhere, and within walking distance of the canopy walk, restaurants, and pickups for the island hopping tours (which they easily arranged for us). The staff was so nice and the rooftop bar and patio were a great place to relax after a busy day. The AC was also top-notch!

We didn't even stay! After we arrived and saw the place we left .the description is untrue!! I planned our trip ahead...put a filter of A C.in the search. There is NO A.C. in the living area. The windows were just holes in the wall..no glass no mosquito net! The whole buildo g didmt connect and seal to the roof ..holes for mosquitos and bugs. There is no garden as described on booking.com...we left and had to find a place for those 2 night we had booked...stuck without a place to sleep.my daughter and i We are still waiting fir our refund!! We are still waiting for customer service to reply to us ..
