The house was large with plenty of good quality cooking items. It was perfect for grandparents, adult children and a toddler. A cot and high chair were waiting for us. Safe indoor and outdoor areas for the little one. It was possible to walk the km or so to the beach with a stroller, mostly on the edge of the road. The ocean is rough but there is a stream going into the ocean that is good for toddler play. Pleasant views from the accommodation but you will need to leave to see the beautiful ocean sunsets. The unit is in a residential complex with a few holiday apartments.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Villa Izabel, it was just perfect! We felt at home from the beginning. Wonderful and spacious house, very well equippped with a great pool and barbecue area. It’s even better than on the pictures! The hosts Izabel and Taylor were lovely and very helpful with anything we needed. They even provided us with a welcome basket. We would come back anytime!

Featuring sea views, Vicentine Coast Art Cabins provides accommodation with terrace, around 6.3 km from Aljezur Castle. We stayed in the studio for four nights and really enjoyed the location. Waking up every morning to the sunrise over Monchique was special, the views are beautiful. The property is very quiet and peaceful, set in a small residential area with lovely natural surroundings that feel authentic and unspoiled. Both beaches are very close: Monte Clérigo and Amoreira is about 15 minutes on foot, which was perfect for us as we were mainly there for surfing. The studio itself is comfortable for a couple. It has a small independent kitchen and a private bathroom, which worked well for us. There’s an outdoor fridge shared with the bungalow guests and a shared outdoor area, but we barely crossed paths with anyone else. The outdoor shower is a real highlight. The setup feels ideal for three or four people (families with kids two in the studio and two in the bungalow), as it gives everyone good privacy in the outdoor spaces.

Villa 37 actually looks even better than in the photos. It's spacious , airy , full of light , nicely furnished and has a great outdoor area with western sun at the back. Great view from the lounge and the front balcony over the river and mountain ranges and over the native vegetation from the pool area. Silence and tranquility .We were very happy with Rita's assistance with check in and other issues.Easy walking distance to both beaches - Monte Clerigo and Amoreira. It can be chilly in the house in the mornings and evenings as we don't like aircon but it wasn't a big issue.
