We loved our stay. Sea view rooms are amazing with the floor to ceiling balcony windows giving you sea and sunset view from your bed. Staff very helpful and nothing was a problem, place was extremely clean and made our stay a perfect short get away. Loved the beautiful breakfast selection and availability to just chill with pool, sauna , cross fit outdoor gym facilities, even had a skate boarding bowl if you can skateboard. Surf and yoga was available and everyone on the course was raving how great a time they were having, we only booked just room and breakfast, but could of dropped into any classes if needed

The apartment is in a good location - within walking distance to the beach. It's spacious, clean, well equipped, although some of the appliances, especially the washing machine, could do with replacing. There is a shared small pool and two barbecues on the upper floor terrace. Shops, restaurants and other beaches are in the town of Ericeira, 6 km away. Unfortunately the house in which the apartment is located would need renovation. The moisture extraction is not well solved (after 4 days of staying, for example, mold appeared on the window sill in one bedroom despite regular ventilation, all our clothes smelled musty like in a damp basement), the plaster in the corridors is falling off, the decorative bars on the windows could use a corrosion-proof coating and the soundproofing between the apartments seems to have been forgotten to be built in - even a normal call from the neighbors could be heard. Although the house has a garage, we were unable to get to the parking space belonging to the apartment due to the lack of space and the complicated zigzagging between the columns. And we didn't have a very big car. However, it was always possible to park in front of the house. The not fully maintained house and difficult parking spoiled our impression of the accommodation a bit. Still, we enjoyed our stay at Granny's House.

We loved the quiet area and the balconies which could expose the beauty of nature around us. The apartment was spacious and easily fit 5 guests. It would be important to underline that we were 3 friends and a couple - so the two bedroom set-up with 2 double beds and one single was perfect. Might not be suitable if there are more couples than one. However, we had an amazing time at Coral Villa - the Sao Juliao surf beach with an amazing school run by a local surfers' couple was gorgeous and easily accessible both by foot and driving, there were plenty of parking options at all times, the facilities were clean and as described on the listing. Ericeira is only 10 minutes drive on a beautiful road, Lisbon is an hour away, and there are plenty of gorgeous spots within 30-40 minute drive. The check-in instructions were timely and super detailed, it was impossible to miss anything. Thank you very much for this amazing experience!
