We stayed at this lovely hotel just a few steps from the ocean – literally, you can walk to the beach and even enjoy the view from the balcony. Waking up to the sea breeze? Yes, please! Only a 3-minute stroll takes you to the cable car, which brings you up to the famous viewpoint where the big waves crash – it’s a must-see! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We arrived before check-in time (oops!), but they still let us check in early – such a nice surprise! Oh, and the local food nearby? Delicious. You won’t go hungry here, that’s for sure. We’re already planning our return. Highly recommended for a chill beach escape with a little adventure on the side!

But if the internet is the most important thing during your visit to Nazaré, then don't go or postpone your visit. . Nazare is in connection with pure nature, not with the modern directions. I hope it stays that way

Oceano is a charming beachfront hotel in the centre of Nazaré. Guests can watch traditional Portuguese wooden fishing boats floating by on the horizon from Oceano’s restaurant. The location is amazing, even if you come without a car. Close to the beach, bus stops, attractions and cliff lift. The room is a great set up for value, the bathroom is amazing and each room has a mini balcony. The bed was comfy with the right hardness of the mattress. Breakfast is nothing high maintenance. Good robust with a lot of bread options, cheese, eggs, pastries, ham, tea&coffee, fruit and yoghurt. I must say I am picky and cannot have breakfast without tomatoes, so I brought my own on the first morning. The staff was so vigilant and customer centric they brought us tomatoes from the 2nd day onwards.
